What to Expect
Every chiropractic office is different. As such we want you to know exactly what to expect in our office.
Before Your First Visit
After scheduling your initial visit, you will be sent a link to fill out a comprehensive online intake form at your convenience. We kindly ask that you complete this form before your appointment as this allows for maximum time for your examination and treatment during your first visit. This also allows Dr. Quiroz to review your file before you come in.
At Your First Visit
Your first visit will be about 45 minutes long. We suggest you wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in. Your visit will be one-on-one with Dr. Quiroz and will include a thorough review of your history and an exam. In almost all cases, you will be treated on the first visit*. Treatments may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work including Active Release Techniques (ART®), and/or corrective exercises. Dr. Quiroz will discuss recommendations for future visits.
*If any additional testing such as x-rays are needed prior to treatment, Dr. Quiroz will make the recommendation.
After Your First Visit
Our goal is to get you back to doing the things that are important to you as quickly as possible. What that means might look different for every person with their own unique history, lifestyle, and goals. Because of that, Dr. Quiroz gives short-term care recommendations with frequent re-evaluations to monitor progression and modify care accordingly. At Sol Chiropractic our main focus is promoting wellness and empowering patients to prioritize their health. Many patients find benefit from incorporating wellness/maintenance chiropractic care into their lives.
We offer two different office visit types for follow-up and ongoing care: a standard wellness / maintenance visit for an adjustment-focused appointment and an extended visit for a longer appointment that might include more extensive soft tissue therapy or corrective exercises. Patients are free to schedule whichever appointment type best fits their needs at any given time.
